Course Description:

Zig Ziglar used to say his clients would complain, “What if we train our workers and they leave?” His automatic response was, “What if you don’t train them and they stay?!”

Training is a critical part of how businesses thrive and how workers learn to do what they need to get done.

It truly starts with job competencies for each role in an organization and then justification for each position through Human Resources. These are the competencies pre-defined for certain job positions using tools like Occupational Network “O*Net” (www.onetonline.org) to describe basic functions for certain roles in specific industries. When filling positions, we attempt to align the candidates background with the defined requirements of the role. Sometimes there are gaps, or very specific demands that onboarding would require new-hires to learn and they must be trained. Other times, it can be complicated work that needs initial and potential refresher training given at certain frequencies. Regardless, training is a necessity, and if you’re trainers need some guidance on how to be a successful trainer, where are they getting guidance for that task? Enter a “Train the Trainer” program, where you either have a company come in and give it to your training staff, or you send them out for it. When trusting a company with such an expense, your company will be looking for a solid return on investment. We cater to your trainer’s needs, strengths, and weaknesses, providing them with a challenging atmosphere, getting the most out of the experience.
