HU Tools Team Announcements - Can you please help with a poster session?
A little background... Human Performance tools are being used by many people all the time, but do you know who cares about them enough to look for them on the internet to learn more? Where are these interested people from, and who are they? Are they professionals? Which fields to they work in? Nuclear? Pharmaceutical? Medical? Transportation? People Services? It's really hard to tell. This website is only a tiny fraction of those interested, but some analytics may reveal a little bit about who is interested in the Summer of 2013! In the next couple of weeks it would be wonderful to learn a little bit about you - the visitor.
Announcement #1
Recently, I have been asked to conduct a poster-session at an upcoming Human Performance Conference where a lot of HU-minded people will be attending. The poster session topic is literally to share this blog and coming podcast resource with attendees.
Announcement #2
Please note that the "Human Performance Tools" podcast will go live this coming Sunday night, August 11, barring no major issues between now and then. The podcast will be available through iTunes and other sources.
Some statistics
Through the wonder of Google Analytics, I am so grateful to share that as of today, over 1500 unique visitors have been to this website from 44 different United States and 44 different countries! It seems as if the blog has some new friends from the U.K., Romania, Malaysia, Spain, Canada, South Africa, India, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and so many more. It amazes me to think about the vast experience and backgrounds of the site visitors. Thank you all for visiting and keep coming back - as you know, new content is being added all the time.
A humble request
It would further add to my appreciation if you could share with me anything you like about the site, and subject content you would like to see here in the future. If you wouldn't mind sending an email to humanperformancetools@gmail.com briefly describing how you learned about the site, and what value it is to you. The goal is to include this information in the poster session.
One more request:
Is there somewhere you know where this blog could be advertised and put in front of like-minded people that do not use LinkedIn? The Human Performance Tools Team is open to suggestions and hopeful you can provide them.
Respectfully,
James Newman
